SA Express will no longer be liquidated.

It has been announced that the airline, SA Express, will no longer be liquidated.
According to BusinessTech, the state-owned airline has confirmed that the application for liquidation issued by Solenta Aviation has been withdrawn.
SA Express has issued a statement of Friday stating: “Following an application for liquidation brought against SA Express in the Gauteng High Court in June 2017 by Solenta Aviation, the airline can confirm that it was served with a notice of withdrawal on 6 November 2017.”
It is understood that Solenta submitted the application in response to a non-payment of debt owed by SA Express.
According to Business Day, SA Express had been indebted to Solenta by R87.3m.
Sowetan Live reports that the dispute between the two parties will be dealt with by means of arbitration.
