Chiwenga warned about military reaction in Zimbabwe

Former Vice President Emmerson Mnangawa was removed from his post last week after a disagreement with the president regarding ZANU-PF leadership.
Presidential hopeful Grace Mugabe took to publicly slandering the former Vice President accusing him of planning a coup.
According to MSN, Zimbabwe’s military has taken over the state’s media and assert that they are only acting against criminals and that the presidential family is safe.
Despite the heavy presence of the tanks, soldiers and ammunition in Harare, the state’s capital, the Major-General has stated that the activity is not a coup.
It is alleged that the head of defense, General Constantiono Chiwenga gave warning on Monday that the army would react drastically if ZANU-PF refused to stop eliminations of party members with a military history.
Chiwenga statement has been identified as treason.
