At least 10 killed in suicide bombing

At least 10 police officers have been killed in a suicide bombing in Mogadishu, Somalia on Thursday morning.
According to Reuters, Police spokesperson Major Mohamed Hussein said that the attacker disguised himself as a police officer and detonated his explosives at a General Kahiye Police Training Academy parade.
Reports assert that the militant Islamist group al-Shabaab, which is allied to al-Qaeda, has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Conflicting reports regarding the death toll have surfaced, leaving the total number of deaths unknown.
However, officials confirmed to Aljazeera that at least 10 police officers have perished and several others have been critically wounded in the attack.
al-Shabaab Abdiasis military operations spokesperson Abu Musab gave a higher death toll of the attack, claiming to Reuters that they had killed 27 police officers in the attack.
