ANC to meet with ‘missing’ voters

The ANC’s legal team has called a meeting with the 68 members whose votes were not counted during the final tally for the secretary-general post.

News24 reports that the lawyer representing the voters, Dexter Selepe, is determined resolve the issue.

“[The ANC has] responded and called for a meeting. We are preparing to meet them and talk about this issue and to find a solution to this problem,” Selepe told News24.

They are expected to meet later this week.

On Tuesday it emerged that the votes were unaccounted for during the final tally for the secretary-general post in which Senzo Mchunu lost to Ace Magashule by 24 votes.
