ANC leadership ditch public events

Several members of the ANC’s ‘top six’ leaders have decided not to participate in the build-up programmes towards the #Mandela100 Rally planned for Sunday, 11 February.
The rally is intended to honour the late Nelson Mandela, who would have turned 100 this year.
In a statement, the party said that this decision has been made due to “various other commitments they are required to attend to.”
The ANC has also announced that President of the ANC Cyril Ramaphosa will no longer participate in the build-up programmes on Friday and Saturday, due to “other pressing commitments.”
Ramaphosa will, however, attend the rally on Sunday.
